Georgina Roller Derby League is a grassroots, member-run, inclusive sports league. The purpose of GRDL is to provide residents of the Georgina and surrounding area with the opportunity to learn to roller skate and participate in roller derby. As a sport, roller derby promotes fitness, coordination, strategy inclusivity, and cooperation. As a league, we promote acceptance, empowerment, and confidence in our players and other members. We practice once per week, year round. The league travels during the bout season, and we are beginning to host games on our home track in Georgina.
