june 8th scrimmage: goonies vs gremlins @ sutton arena

HEEEEYYYY YOOOOUUUU GUUUUYYYYSSS!

Join us for a fun-filled double-header scrimmage in Georgina. Will you be cheering for the Goonies on a mission or the Gremlins causing a commotion?!   


Sunday June 8th, Sutton Arena.  Doors Open 2pm.  Game 1, 2:30pm & Game 2, 4:30pm


Spectators are welcome! $10 at the door, or $5 with a non-perishable food donation for the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation Food Bank. Children under 10 are free!


PLEASE NOTE – PAYMENTS AT EVENT WILL BE CASH OR E-TRANSFER ONLY, NO DEBIT OR CREDIT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Service can be spotty at this location so e-transfer is not guaranteed to work.

Tentative schedule:

 1:30 pm: Volunteers arrive | Set up begins
2:00 pm: Arena Opens
2:30 pm: All Officials Meeting in the Officials' change room

Game 1 (Freshie-Beginner)*
2:30 pm: G1 Skater Warm-ups & Team Adjustments (as needed)
2:50 pm: G1 Officials Roll Call: NSOs at the score table & Refs at centre track
3:00 pm: First Whistle

Game 2 (Intermediate & Advanced)**
4:30 pm: G2 Skater Warm-ups & Team Adjustments (as needed)
4:50 pm: G2 Officials Roll Call: NSOs at the score table & Refs at centre track
5:00 pm: First Whistle

6:30 pm (approx): Clean-up Begins

All skaters must be 18+ and insured

 *Freshies must have passed their league mins to play 

Possible Adjustments

 Game 2 may start a bit sooner if a previous game ends earlier than scheduled.
